I personally don’t want this gun because I don’t really want a gun at all, but given all the recent controversy about gun safety I think it’s a pretty ingenious security measure. The gun can only be fired if the fingerprints of the person gripping it match the fingerprints of the gun’s owner. This is supposed to guard against gun owners having their own weapons used against them. While it can’t prevent the damage the owner can do with their gun if they choose to, it definitely seems like a desirable design addition in the sense that it’s both personalized and geared towards personal safety.
