LuminAid is a solar-powered inflatable light. The product launched on kickstarter, where it raised $51,829 (with a goal of only $10,000!) Following a Toms Shoes and Warby Parker model – when you buy a light for yourself you sponsor a light that will be given to to someone who is in need of a safe, rechargeable light source.
The concept is desirable in itself – the sleek design of the product paired with idyllic images of luminAIDs on sailboats and on campsites is the icing on the cake.
