I came home the other day and found this posted on my door. Because it said eviction notice, I frantically read the whole thing (even though from a logical perspective it made no sense that I would be evicted). The Harvard Palestine Solidarity Committee posted these to spread awareness about 160,000 Palestinians who have been displaced by the Israeli military occupation. I think it’s an excellent example of emotional design because it elicits an immediate and powerful emotional response that prompts the viewer to consider those people who have actually received these notices and had their lives destroyed.
