Toscanini’s Ice Cream
Toascanini’s is an ice cream shop in Central Square. While the ice cream there is certainly delicious, I think the real strength of Toscanini’s “product” is the space in the shop. Many ice cream shops are simply a counter where you buy your ice cream and quickly leave. Toscanini’s is a big open space, with floor-to-ceiling windows and a big square table in the middle. There are plentiful outlets, extension cords, and seats, creating an open and inviting atmosphere that encourages people to stick around whether by themselves or to interact with a group of friends.
Tory Burch
Tory Burch has created a desirable product by associating her fashion line with a strong and recognizable brand. The packaging of her products is iconic and loud, with bright colors and strong, repetitive patterns. In addition, she shows a great attention to detail when packaging for shipment–although the outside of the shipment typically looks like a normal cardboard box, the inside is white with the Tory Burch logo printed beneath the lid. Everything from the products themselves to the boxes they are wrapped in shows care and attention, which helps to shape the full experience of the customer from beginning to end.
